The Will to Rise: Why Effort Is the True Path to Heaven, Wealth, and Power

By Anthony Perlas – Founder of OTTE Models & Theta Evangelist

In an age where everyone wants instant success, we forget one thing: the greatest systems in history—spiritual, military, or ideological—have always required the same thing.

Effort. Blood. Sweat. Willpower.

Whether you’re trying to reach heaven, unlock the Operating Thetan levels in Scientology, or simply survive Navy boot camp—there are no shortcuts.

And there never were.

The Roman Catholic Church: Suffering as a Spiritual Ladder

The Roman Catholic Church doesn’t promise salvation for free. It’s a journey that includes:

• Purgation – The soul suffers, repents, and purifies itself.

• Illumination – Virtue is practiced. Grace is given. Understanding is deepened.

• Unification – The self becomes one with Christ.

The purpose? To imitate Jesus Christ. Not just worship Him. But duplicate His humility, sacrifice, and obedience.

Thomas à Kempis, author of The Imitation of Christ, wrote:

“If you want peace, prepare for war within yourself.”

This isn’t self-help. It’s soul-architecture.

And it’s brutal.

Confession: Spiritual Technology Before Scientology

The Catholic cycle of transformation—sin, confession, forgiveness—is a perfect example of what Scientology calls “clearing engrams.”

Every confession frees attention units locked up in guilt, secrets, or confusion.

Every penance is a reset of spiritual bandwidth.

Before L. Ron Hubbard ever sold auditing, the Catholic priest was already doing it—for free—with incense, ritual, and God.

Scientology: The Audited Path to God-Like Status

Scientology doesn’t play. To reach OT7, it costs millions. And if you want to unlock OT9–OT12? You better fund Ideal Orgs around the world.

You start with a personality test to see how “socially acceptable” you are. Then you get audited, cleared, leveled up.

Scientology is capitalism for the soul. But it works because:

There is no progress without exact steps, total effort, and spiritual hierarchy.

Just like Catholicism. But privatized.

The U.S. Navy: Government-Sanctioned Suffering

Did you know a U.S. Navy E1 recruit earns $18,000/year, working 14–16 hours/day, six days a week?

And that’s legal.

The Navy operates like a monastic order.

• Obedience is absolute.

• Identity is erased.

• Purpose is programmed.

Yet it produces some of the toughest, most loyal, most mentally refined humans on Earth.

Why?

Because effort builds identity. Pain builds presence.

Mindset = Matter

All three systems—Catholicism, Scientology, and the Military—agree on one thing:

Your mind creates your world.

If society teaches you that success should be easy, that peace should be handed to you, that equality means entitlement—you’re being programmed against reality.

This is psychological warfare.

Suppression: When Weakness Is Protected Over Strength

We now live in a system that punishes excellence.

• Strong men are silenced.

• Beautiful women are shamed.

• High performers are accused of being “toxic” or “privileged.”

This is not progress. It’s suppression.

A civilization cannot rise if it rewards weakness. We must build systems that allow superior willpower and genetic resilience to ascend—not be held down by the mediocre masses.

Genetic Honesty: Survival of the Fittest Still Applies

Let’s be clear:

Superior genes are not race-based. They are effort-based.

Superior humans are:

• Focused

• Obedient to spiritual laws

• Emotionally stable

• High in willpower

• Contributors, not consumers

We need to protect and elevate those traits—not water them down for social comfort.

Crossbreeding of values, habits, and mental strength—not just DNA—ensures the evolution of humanity.

A New Framework for Civilization

Democracy should not protect laziness.

Equality should not reward disobedience.

Justice should be merit-based.

Let the best rise.

Let effort shine.

Let God’s design unfold without suppression.

The Rise of the Willful

If you want to rise, here’s your prescription:

1. Confess regularly. It resets your soul.

2. Endure suffering. Gym. Silence. Prayer. Work.

3. Earn your upgrades. No shortcuts. No handouts.

4. Choose your tribe wisely. Join systems that demand more.

5. Build the kingdom of heaven on earth. One rep, one post, one prayer at a time.

“The imitation of Christ is not passive submission—it is active domination through humility.”

Effort is holy.

Work is sacred.

Will is divine.

And the world is yours—if you earn it.
